# GitLab Server — OAuth

## Overview

When Mobb connects to an on-premises GitLab Server through the Mobb Broker using **OAuth** authentication, it relies on an OAuth application and its associated credentials configured in GitLab Server. This guide explains how to update or rotate those OAuth credentials in Mobb.

## Prerequisites

* Access to a Mobb on-premises deployment with the Mobb Broker configured for GitLab Server
* Admin access to the GitLab Server instance to manage OAuth applications
* Admin or Owner access to the relevant Mobb organization
