GitHub Enterprise Server — OAuth

This guide applies only to on-premises Mobb deployments where the Mobb Broker is used to connect to a self-hosted GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) instance.

Overview

When Mobb connects to an on-premises GitHub Enterprise Server through the Mobb Broker using OAuth authentication, it relies on a GitHub OAuth App and its associated credentials. This guide explains how to update or rotate those OAuth credentials in Mobb.

Prerequisites

• Access to a Mobb on-premises deployment with the Mobb Broker configured for GitHub Enterprise Server

• Admin access to the GitHub Enterprise Server instance to manage OAuth Apps

• Admin or Owner access to the relevant Mobb organization
